Letter

Dear family, I’m in the western front in france and I want to talk to you how my daily life is in the trench and when I’m fighting.

Life here is very tough and tiring. I know that I don’t have the option to quit but I continue fighting for my country. In the trench, where I’m presently righting this letter, rats and other insects are invading the area causing numerus diseases to the soldiers. Luckily, I’m not one of these. Today, I fought with the Germans which were equipped with more sophisticated weapons than our army. Unfortunately, they forced us to recover back to our trenches. Each day, I keep thanking god for keeping me safe from troubles. Although our army is starting to loose hope in the war, I always believe in miracles to happen. I can’t wait to come back home and see you all.

Love you all
